Write for us
Radiant Film Culture welcomes thoughtful pitches about the customs, spaces, memories and conversations that shape how people encounter films. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting an unsolicited full article.
Subjects we welcome
Pitch a focused idea about film audiences, screening experiences, viewing rituals, film memory or the ways people talk about what they watch. A strong proposal gives readers a clear question to follow and connects it to a specific, recognisable situation.
What makes a useful pitch
Tell us the working title, the central point, why it suits Radiant Film Culture and how you would explain it to a general reader. Say what makes the angle distinct from familiar film commentary. Keep the pitch concise and avoid claims that would require access to private information or unsupported statistics.
Before sending
Use the Contact page and select the editorial question option to send a proposal. Include any relevant writing samples only if you already have them available. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication, and we may ask for clarification before considering it further.
Film culture is made between the frames
A film does not end at the edge of the screen. The places where it is watched, the people watching and the conversations afterward all shape its life.
